Jon's BooBoo

As most of you know, on April 4th, Jon had surgery to have his L-4 L-5 vertabrea fused. We went to the hospital at around noon and checked in. Jon's sister Fitta came out to support him and spend time with him. So it was off to surgery. He was in there for about 1 1/2 hours and the Dr. said it was a lot worse than he thought once he got in. He had to get up and walk as soon as he could. He was in a lot of pain. Probably the worst pain he ever had. He had 25 staples put into about an 8 inch incision. He stayed in the hospital until Monday then he was ready to come home. He is recouping better than I thought. He went back to work 2 weeks after it was done. He is taking it slow, but he was going crazy being couped up in the house. He should be back to normal in about 6 month (thats what the Dr. said.So it is a waiting game.
