Camping on the 4th

We had a nice relaxing 4th of July weekend. Jon really hates going to the parade and sweating to death, so he decided we needed to go camping. We went back up to Diamond Fork. We had an extra day to camp and we took advantage of it. We packed all of our stuff up and Jon took the trailer up Wednesday night and then went up Thursday afternoon.
Our friends, Kim and Codie, got a new trailer so they had to break it in and what a better weekend to do it. Scott and Lisa came up too with their girls, Lexi and Maddy. My mom even came up for a night. We had a blast. We realxed, played tonz of games, did some crafts, fished a bit, cooked biscuits, made smores, and tried a new treat-----cinnamon rolls over the fire. WOW! YUMMY!!
It was really nice where we were because we were in the shade most of the time, but when it was super hot, we took off to the river and cooled off. It was the perfect temp. Not too cold. While we were there, we found a snake and the girls freaked!
It was a nice weekend to spend with family and friends.
